RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY


1.    Introduction

1.1.    This return and refund policy (“Policy”) applies to use of the website https://snack-stories.com/ including any web-pages thereof, mobile-optimized version of the website and other media formats (“Website”) mobile application (“Application”) (Website and Application collectively referred to as “Platform”) owned by ROCKROOTZ CORP INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company registered under the laws of India under the name and style of “SnackStorieS” (hereinafter “SnackStorieS”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
 
1.2.    Please also read Terms of Use (“Terms”) and other policies as set out on the Platform before proceeding to place an order. By placing a purchase order, it shall be deemed that you have read the Terms and other policies including this Policy and the same are acceptable and binding upon you.

1.3.    This Policy sets out the terms and conditions of placing a purchase order through the Platform, on fulfilment of which SnackStorieS may permit you to either (i) return the products; (ii) exchange them for other products; and/or (iii) seek refund for eligible returns.

1.4.    By placing a purchase order for a product on the Platform, you agree that you are accessing the product(s) available on this Platform and transacting at your sole risk and are using your best and prudent judgment before entering into any transaction with SnackStorieS through this Platform. 

1.5.    Before placing an order on the Platform, you are requested to carefully read the description of product(s), product specific conditions, the Terms and SnackStorieS’ policies published on the Platform.

2.    Invitation of offer and Acceptance of Offer

2.1.    All products and information displayed on Platform are SnackStorieS’ invitation to offer and not an offer. Your order for purchase of any products constitutes your offer which shall be subject to Terms and the terms of this Policy and SnackStorieS reserves the right to accept or reject your offer in part or in full.

2.2.    Acceptance of your order for purchase by SnackStorieS will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. For avoidance of doubt, no act or omission by SnackStorieS prior to the actual dispatch of the product(s) ordered will constitute acceptance of your offer.

2.3.    Dispatch of all the product(s) ordered, may or may not happen at the same time, in such a scenario that portion of the order which has been dispatched will be deemed to have been accepted by SnackStorieS and the balance would continue to be an offer to SnackStorieS and SnackStorieS reserves the right to accept or reject such balance order.

2.4.    We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. If you have provided us with your contact details such as mobile number, phone number or e-mail address, we will call you or send you an e-mail or use any other mode of communication for obtaining additional information from you to accept your order.

2.5.    SnackStorieS may either call you or send an e-mail or through any other mode of communication notify you, as soon as possible, the (i) receipt of your order; or (ii) confirm dispatch of product(s) and acceptance of your order. You can track the package through the ‘My Order’ section available on the Platform.

2.6.    With respect to product(s) sold on the Platform, we receive payment from you before your order has been shipped. If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver you the product(s), as per your order, we will inform you about the same and even refund the value of the product(s) not available or incapable of delivery. 

2.7.    In case where the product(s) are sold on the Platform but payment terms are ‘Cash on Delivery’ if, for any reason, we are unable to deliver you the product(s), then, we will only inform you about its inability to accept your offer.

2.8.    SnackStorieS processes one shipping address per order. Therefore, if you would like to order several items and have these items shipped to different people, SnackStorieS will treat each shipping address as separate orders.

2.9.    Any coupon code can only be used once by a user. Coupon code will not be valid on discounted products. Coupon codes cannot be clubbed with existing offers, wallet or discounts.

3.    Disclaimer

3.1.    SnackStorieS hereby disclaims any guarantees of exactness as to the finish or appearance of the product/merchandise as ordered by you.

3.2.    SnackStorieS has taken all steps to ensure that the colour, size, shapes, design and other features of the products/merchandise that are displayed on our Platform are accurately reproduced so as to resemble the actual product. However, the graphical display i.e. visuals of the products/merchandise would be dependent upon the configuration of your computer resource. SnackStorieS does not guarantee that the colour of products/merchandise displayed on the Platform in your computer resource accurately represents the actual product/merchandise. There is also a possibility that the quality of any products purchased or obtained by you through the Platform may not meet your expectations.

3.3.    SnackStorieS expressly disclaim any warranties or representations (express or implied) in respect of quality, suitability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed or displayed or transacted or the content (including product information and/or specifications) on the Platform.

3.4.    While we have taken precautions to avoid inaccuracies in content; this Platform, all content, information, software, products, audio or video and related graphics are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. SnackStorieS is not obligated to provide any physical preview of the object either before or after the sale.

4.    Returns & Refunds

4.1.    SnackStorieS is not liable to compensate you if the quality of any products/merchandise purchased by you through the Platform does not meet your expectations. At the most, SnackStorieS may allow you to return the product in exchange of another product or seek a refund for an eligible returned product, as per the terms prescribed under this clause.

4.2.    SnackStorieS has a simple and hassle-free return, cancellation and/or exchange policy for certain products purchased from the Platform, provided the following conditions are fulfilled:

4.2.1.    Any request for cancellation must be placed by you within 2 (two) hours of placing an order from the Platform. No cancellation requests placed beyond this period would be entertained.  

4.2.2.    Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.

4.2.3.    Any request for a refund or exchange shall only be accepted if you have received products that are damaged or defective or if you have received the wrong product. 

4.2.4.    Any request for return/ exchange must be placed by you within 24 hours of delivery by Us. No requests placed beyond this period would be entertained. However, made-to-order or customized styles are not returnable. 

4.2.5.    The product must be returned in its original condition along with the invoice, all labels, tags, authenticity cards, dust bags, designer boxes, freebies, if any and other packaging intact sold as a part of the product.

4.2.6.    Any product sought to be returned or exchanged, should be unworn, unused or packed. Products that are found to be used, damaged or unpacked will not be accepted for return or exchange.

4.2.7.    Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary any product listed as non-refundable or non-returnable in the Platform shall not be eligible for any refund or exchange. 

4.3.    Products returned under this Policy will be subject to quality testing/inspection. Products that are damaged, soiled or returned without their original labels may not be accepted and may be sent back to you.

4.4.    In the event that the product to be returned satisfies the refund criteria as mentioned in Clause 4.2, you will be entitled to a refund of the consideration for such product which will be credited to your original account/mode of payment within 5-7 days. 

4.5.    In the event that the product to be returned does not satisfy refund criteria as stated in the clause 4.2 above, SnackStorieS shall not be liable to accept any such request for cancellation or return or exchanges or issue any refunds. 

4.6.    Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy, SnackStorieS reserves a right to reject any request for return and/or exchange of any products without giving any reasons for the same. In such cases, products will be sent back to the customer at the original shipping address.

4.7.    All decisions, in relation to the cancellation/refund/return/replacement requests, made by us shall be final and binding. You agree not to challenge such decisions in any manner whatsoever.

4.8.    There will be no refunds for orders to which any kind of discounts were applied. For the purposes of these terms, “discount” includes a sale (including EOSS), discount/offer code or coupon.

4.9.    Discounted product(s) or orders placed using loyalty points or promotional gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged

4.10.    Unreasonable and unlawful requests in addition to return or exchange, over and above the entitled refund, will be treated as loss to SnackStorieS and SnackStorieS reserves the right to cancel orders or block accounts of such customers without any prior notice.

4.11.    As practice, SnackStorieS returns money into the same bank account/debit card/credit card account from where it received the payment.

5.    Pricing

5.1.    SnackStorieS will endeavour to provide you with the best prices possible on products and/or merchandise. However, SnackStorieS does not guarantee that the price will be the lowest in the territory from where you are placing the purchase order. The prices mentioned on the Platform are not subject to comparison with the same or similar product(s)/merchandise(s) available through any other online or offline sale.

5.2.    The pricing is subject to SnackStorieS’s internal pricing policy and the prices shall be determined only at the sole discretion of SnackStorieS. Thus, the prices are subject to change at any time, without any notifications. Further, the prices and availability of product(s)/merchandise(s) are liable to change without any prior notice from SnackStorieS. 

5.3.    All references to ‘Rupee/INR’ on the Platform refer to Indian currency. Unless otherwise mentioned, the price displayed on the Platform for any product(s) in INR represents the full price of the product(s) to be shipped in India.

5.4.    For domestic deliveries, i.e., delivery of products within India, all taxes and duties are included in the price of the product set out on the Platform.

5.5.    Please note that we do not provide deliveries outside of India.
